Position Overview:
The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our dentists and hygienists while ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with both patients and team members in a collaborative, friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Greet patients warmly and ensure they feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
Assist the dentist during procedures by anticipating needs and providing chairside support.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, aftercare, and treatment plans in clear, compassionate language.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and notify the team when orders are needed.
Support front desk duties when necessary, such as scheduling and patient communication.
Collaborate with the entire team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient experiences.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
Radiology certification and child abuse clearance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A warm, caring demeanor and a true passion for patient care.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
