Help wanted - Caregiver with muscle for occasional outings for senior couple; experienced with Alzheimer’s
Looking for a caregiver for occasional support in going out on rides and visits to places like the mall, Longwood Gardens, outside parks with paved trails, perhaps a meal out at a restaurant.
Mom lives in a nursing home due to Alzheimer’s but can still get out for short (few hours) drives/excursions.
My dad likes to drive around and take her out, but it’s getting a little harder for him to help my mom. (Ideally you could help loading/unloading the wheelchair from the car and help mom get in/out).
My mom needs help transferring from car to wheelchair and wheelchair to car. She can walk and stand a little- but the chair is the easiest way for her to get around. She’s 190lbs, so someone who is strong and can support her physically is helpful.
She may need some toileting and eating help too.

Would be looking for daytime help on weekdays and weekends. Our schedule is flexible and we can work with you. This could potentially be once or twice a week. Once or twice a month is ok too.
