Patient billing/reimbursement specialist needed for a Personal Injury / Workers Comp services based health care services based in Philadelphia. Should have great customer service and multitasking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and attorneys. This person will be responsible for reviewing and processing billing, along with accurate and timely posting of all charges.
Job Requirements:
Must have knowledge of all types of insurance plans and policies with regard to (Auto/PIP), WC Carriers
Must have experience with contacting insurance companies, attorneys, and tracking payments
Working accounts receivable & sending patient statements
Must know how to read EOB's and understand denial codes
Posting insurance and patient payments
Experience in appeals and demands
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour plus full range of benefits
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
