Corner Dentistry is looking for a salary based dental hygienist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a small, boutique-style office. Our office is only 2 operatories and we pride ourselves on developing long-term relationships with our patients and fostering an awesome work environment for our employees.
About us: Corner Dentistry is a 10 year old general dental practice located in Queen Village/Bella Vista founded by Drs. Katz and Concepcion (a husband/wife team). The doctors alternate days in the office. Currently, our staff includes a practice coordinator and a dental assistant. We are open M-Th (8-4) and Fri (8-2). In July and August, the office is open M-Th (8-5) to allow for summer Fridays!
Our ideal candidate: Your job will be completing the standard dental hygienist duties for the office (taking x-rays, charting, completing prophys, providing scaling and root planing when needed). Patients are scheduled every 30-60 minutes depending on the patient's treatment needs. We do not overbook or double book the schedule. Pleasant demeanor and punctuality is a must.
Since we are a small office, everybody helps with additional duties when needed (answering the phone, setting up/breaking down rooms, etc.). We all work together as a team!
Credentials: We expect each prospective employee to have an active hygiene license and 6 months experience working in a dental office is preferred.
Compensation: Generally, the doctors take 27-30 days off per year for holidays/vacation. During these days, the hygienist will also be off. In order allow for a consistent weekly paycheck, this will be a salary based position with compensation based on experience. Retirement benefits and health insurance are also available after a pre-determined period.
