We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Facilities Caretaker (Live On Site)to maintain and facilitate the operational integrity of our commercial property, and event spaces. This full-time, live in position requires a proactive individual with strong maintenance skills, positive and professional demeanor, reliability, and a commitment to ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the facility.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of maintenance expertise, including light electrical, mechanical, and facilities management, and will serve as a primary support staff for building upkeep and maintenance. Additionally this position is required to be available nights and weekends to support the events business, with potential additional compensation.
Brand new renovated apartment with all utilities provided. Salary DOE.

Responsibilities:
-Perform routine and preventive maintenance across various building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC.
-Conduct repairs using skills such as light electrical work, residential painting, drywall, plumbing and other common maintenance tasks required in a commercial building.
-Assist supporting subcontractors or maintenance staff when necessary
-Assist in additional building operations including but not limited to security, cleanliness, building opening and closing procedures, camera system monitoring
-Provide professional in person customer service to residents or tenants regarding maintenance requests or concerns.
-Emergency and after hours support.
-Providing and maintaining accurate records and reports.
Ideal Requirements:
-Ideally 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or related field
-Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Basic knowledge of security systems and protocols
-Ability to pass a pre hiring background check and drug test
-Work capability USA: You must have permission to work in the USA and provide proof of eligibility
-Basic English: You must speak and understand basic English to communicate effectively with building staff and occupants. Spanish speaking would be a plus.
-Ability to lift 50lbs and perform maintenance tasks
