Residential contracting firm has an immediate, full time opening for a hands-on Superintendent to oversee projects in the Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate must have knowledge and experience in overseeing multiple projects from substantial completion to final completion, including close-out procedures and managing the warranty process.
Duties include, but are not limited to, understanding the contract drawings, familiarity with Scope of Work for all trades, scheduling and coordinating trades, safety and overseeing quality of work.
The candidate must have reliable transportation, the ability to stand for long periods of time, climb multiple flights of stairs and possess an overall familiarity with code and OSHA requirements. In addition, the candidate must have previous experience with verbal and written (email) communication between other trades, architects and owners as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience as a superintendent or working foreman.
Candidates with hands-on experience in performing finish or rough carpentry will be moved to front of the line in the interview process.
Experience managing priorities among multiple projects.
Ability to work in a dynamic, team environment.
Update and maintain Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
Maintain thorough understanding of contract documents and specifications.
Ability to be decisive and make decisions that are beneficial to both the company and client.
Occasionally work Saturdays or overtime as required.
Compensation package commensurate with experience and ability. Monthly allowance package for vehicle, tools, phone, etc. as applicable.
