Description: Full time Mover / Driver position for a home staging company in Philadelphia. We are looking for a physically fit, responsible individual with truck driving experience to move and transport furniture, as well as installation. Movers are responsible for ensuring that items are moved from point A to point B, undamaged and placed in the correct position in the new location. To be successful as a Mover / Driver you must have stamina to perform manual duties that often require strength. Multiple installations and removals are performed daily.
Responsibilities:
Wrapping furniture in protective material.
Load, pack and unload items with care.
Ensure that no items are damaged while moving.
Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location, or return in orderly fashion to warehouse facility.
Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation.
Driving 17' Trucks to and from locations, as well as pick-ups and deliveries.
General up keep / cleaning of trucks weekly.
Requirements:
Valid drivers license + experience with driving box trucks.
Reliable transporation to and from warehouse facility.
Physically fit.
Able to lift 100+ lbs.
Positive, punctual, professional, & reliable.
Able to work in a team environment + take direction.
Organizational Skills.
Able to follow direction and work in a team setting.
Work references are required.
