Description:
Legendair Heating and Cooling is seeking a skilled and reliable Ductwork Installer to join our growing team. We specialize in residential and light commercial HVAC systems and are currently looking for someone to install ductwork for new construction projects. Responsibilities:
Install sheet metal ductwork for heating and cooling systems in new residential and commercial construction
Read and interpret blueprints, job plans, and specifications
Measure, cut, and assemble duct systems using hand and power tools
Ensure all work meets code and company standards
Coordinate with site supervisors, general contractors, and other trades on-site
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Load/unload materials and tools as needed
Perform basic start-up and testing of installed systems
Requirements:
Prior experience in ductwork installation or HVAC installation is preferred
Ability to work with sheet metal tools and fabrication equipment
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/lifts as needed
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Must be punctual, dependable, and professional
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year experience installing ductwork
OSHA 10/30 certification
Own basic hand tools
