Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the common areas (hallways, stairways, courtyards, lobbies, bathrooms) and the inside of 2 specific offices within three commercial office buildings in the Old-Kensington/Kensington Area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are clean, orderly, and presentable at all times. You will work independently and efficiently to complete daily tasks while adhering to company standards and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
General Cleaning:
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all assigned areas of the buildings.
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and shelves.
Empty and clean trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
Replenish restroom supplies (e.g., soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
Ensure that entrances, hallways, and common areas are free of debris and clutter.
Perform deep cleaning tasks as required.
Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and elevator buttons.
Ensure that packages and deliveries are placed on shelving on mail area and not scattered around lobbies.
Additional cleaning projects may be assigned as needed.
Maintenance:
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team.
Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored securely and in good condition.
Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleaning standards and practices.
Requirements:
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or a similar role is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Personal vehicle and current driver’s license for travel between sites.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and moving equipment.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices.
Legally authorized to work in the US.
Schedule:
Full-time position with standard working hours from 9:00 to 5:30, Monday through Friday.
Occasional weekend or evening shifts may be required based on the needs of the buildings.
Compensation:
$15-20 per hour.
