I am an Licensed Electrical and general contractor who seeks and assistant or laborer. This is part time but at times will become full times. No eperience necessary.
What is important is that you are a hard worker who is eager to learn and you are reliable. Some times work is easy which involves watching and assisting when necessary, and other times there will be more physical labor such as some digging, hauling etc.
I do require someone who is up to the challenge and is physically able. Who is physically able and available to work a 8-10 hours day when necessary. Women who are interested in such work or experience and learning, do not hesitate to reply.
What I also require from a worker is that you are a non smoker. You also need to be a light social drinker or you are someone who does not let such activities impact your work nor do you engage in any drug use. If your drinking impacts your reliability or availability that will not be tolerated. The simple fact is that if you want to have any success or get anywhere, you need to prevent that from impacting your work as a general practice.
Prior contracting or technical experience is not necessary. I would rather have someone that is eager and able to learn and follow instructions, rather than someone who is bringing their own bad habits from a previous employer. Using common sense and the ability to apply reasoning and anticipate needs while working is also a plus.
Pay is flexible based on work quality. I can be and have been generous if it is warranted and earned.
I am also willing to teach and educate off the clock as well if learning and expanding your skillset is important to you. That will also make you more valuable to me as well as others in the future. Keep that in mind. Education is not usually free.
I perform work in all other construction trades as well and in addition I perform work with computers, cctv and home theater installations, electronics and vehicle/small engine mechanics as well. I have some small engine equipment that could be restored as well.
Depending on your location I may be able to pick you up, otherwise your own transportation or public transportation is a plus. I am two blocks off west chester pike near cedar ave in upper darby so there are plenty of buses running close by.
