DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain worksite cleanliness by collecting trash, excess building materials, and potentially hazardous products, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
Support skilled tradespeople including welders, painters, and carpenters with their tasks, providing necessary assistance and following instructions.
Perform various manual labor tasks including transporting materials and equipment, operating power tools, and constructing temporary structures like scaffolding.
Set up safety equipment such as cones and warning signs to maintain worksite visibility and security protocols.
Monitor and report unsafe conditions or equipment requiring repair to supervisors to maintain workplace safety standards.
Follow all directives from foremen and supervisors while maintaining adherence to safety rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Physical capability to perform demanding tasks including heavy lifting, digging, and extended periods of standing
Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination for safe and effective work performance
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with power tools and industrial machinery preferred but not required
Willingness to learn and follow all safety protocols and workplace regulations
Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience beneficial but not mandatory
Reliable transportation to worksite
