Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Equipment Cleaner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing medical equipment to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety within our facility. This is a part-time position with the possibility of transitioning to full-time hours based on performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect medical equipment, ensuring all equipment is sterile and safe for use.
Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines for handling medical tools and machines.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and tools are maintained and replenished as needed.
Properly document cleaning procedures and schedules.
Report any issues with equipment or cleanliness to the supervisor.
Follow all workplace safety regulations and procedures.
Please Note: There is no blood or bodily fluids on any medical equipment being clean, this is strictly to get dirt and other sediments off the equipment before it ships back to the customer.
Qualifications:
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, including potential full-time availability.
Additional Requirements:
MUST BE DRUG FREE AND WILLING TO TAKE RANDOM DRUG SCREEN AFTER INITIAL ONE FOR NEW HIRE.
Must be able to pass a background check and any required medical screenings.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
Schedule:
Part-time, flexible hours.
Full-time availability may be considered for the right candidate.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Usually 14/hr to start.
