SUMMARY OF AN ORDER PICKER / FORKLIFT DRIVER:
What will you do in this role? Forklift Operators are responsible for moving stock from one area to another within our warehouse environment. You will load and unload shipments of assorted sizes, and you may use certain types of equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The environment is collaborative, and safety focused.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN ORDER PICKER / FORKLIFT DRIVER:
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using several types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.
Pull and prepare products for shipment.
Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances, as necessary.
Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Assist in physical inventories.
Complete daily inspection of equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS OF AN ORDER PICKER / FORKLIFT DRIVER:
On The Job Training; Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program.
High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
Six months warehouse experience preferred. Order Picker experience a plus.
Six months forklift / Electric Pallet Jack operation experience a plus.
Steel Toed Footwear required.
RF Device Experience
Must be able to pass E-Verify screening (determines eligibility to work in the United States).
Heavy lifting, most products weigh thirty pounds, up to 50/60 pounds.
SHIFT AND PAY OF AN ORDER PICKER / FORKLIFT DRIVER:
1st shift – 8am - 430pm
Monday - Friday
$18.00 / hour
