THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION.
The General Maintenance Service Employee will perform maintenance tasks on residential swimming pools, including but not limited to assisting in pool summerizations, testing water chemistry, brushing and vacuuming and handling chemicals as necessary, learning to maintain proper water balance. This is a General Maintenance position with possible advancement to Service Personnel. This position is directly related to ensuring a strong customer relationship. Communication with customers and management regarding all work performed, on a timely and regular basis, is critical to the success of this position. A professional appearance must be maintained at all times. Forty hours per week are not guaranteed, and work during inclement weather will be determined at the discretion of management. Overtime and Saturday work may be required. This is a seasonal position.
Responsibilities
ì Assisting with the summerization of pools and/or spas
ì Testing pool chemistry and learn to apply appropriate chemicals to maintain proper water balance
ì Brushing and vacuuming pool, cleaning tile
ì Be familiar with the programming of pool controllers/timer clocks
ì Backwashing filters and emptying pump baskets
ì Maintain accurate logs of all work performed
ì Ensure reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers
ì Additional duties as required by Service Managers

ì Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and attitude
ì Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision.
ì Must have drivers license with a clean record
ì Successfully passing drug test (random testing still may occur)
ì Maintain focus in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
ì Excellent communication skills
ì High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred
ì Prior experience maintaining proper water chemistry
ì Prior experience in pool industry
Will train the right candidate.
