We are a 24/7 emergency service water and fire damage restoration company located in West Chester, PA looking for a compassionate, articulate and detailed person to help homeowners who have sustained water or fire damage to their homes. Candidate must be a team player and put others' needs first. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is self-motivated, hardworking, highly dependable and reliable, professional in appearance with a positive attitude and can get the job done in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service. Candidate must be able to comfort the homeowners and manage their expectations. Candidate should be willing to learn continuously and truly want to be part of a team.
No technical experience is required but an understanding of construction/building components is a bonus.
We have an on-call rotation that requires the technician to be available 24 hours a day when on call (approximately one week a month). The vast majority of our work is done during business hours, but we do have times when a call needs to be handled after hours.
Candidate needs the following:
One year experience in the water/fire restoration industry
IICRC Certification or willing to be trained and certified
Valid driver's license
Must have reliable, dependable transportation
Must be able to pass a drug test
Can have no prior criminal convictionswe will do an extensive background criminal check
Neat and clean appearance
Strong communication skills
An understanding of construction/building components is a bonus
Three references
$12-$18 per hour starting wage, medical benefits and company retirement plan
