We are seeking 2-3 on-call, per diem work candidates for our law firm.
PLEASE NOTE: this is not steady hours work! It is a “we call when we need you” position. It should be at least one day a week for a few hours a day.
We would prefer someone with legal office experience but are willing to train the right person. This position might be perfect for a college student or older person just seeking a few extra hours.
Availability at a moment’s notice is VERY important and will get the most work so if you already have a full-time job, this is not the position for you. While we understand this is not the usual, we really need someone who can come in quickly on days that we are swamped and really need a second person.
Also, please note: you will be doing easy, non-stressful, mundane work – making copies, getting the mail, answering the phone and taking messages, typing a letter, whatever work our paralegal needs you to do that week to make her job easier.
Good things are the paralegal is very polite and friendly, as is the boss but you are mainly going to work for and with the paralegal. You can dress business casually to work - we don't care unless clients are coming in and we ALWAYS supply chocolate at work and while we expect you to work hard - we are a fun group!
