Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling parts in both manual and semi-automated environments to meet productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Assembly Equipment (70%): Accurately assemble parts using manual work benches and semi-automated machines to meet a productivity rate of at least 80%.
Set-Up Activities (5%): Perform set-up tasks on manual work benches and semi-automated machines when trained and required.
Quality Control (10%): Perform quality checks, audits, and inspections to ensure products are defect-free, adhering to established processes to achieve zero defects.
Data Entry (5%): Enter data into business software as required, including system checks, material orders, and maintenance requests.
Adhere to Standard Work (10%): Follow standard work procedures, including 5S practices, before, during, and at the end of the shift.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Ability to learn business operating systems and use measuring instruments. Good manual dexterity.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for an 8-hour shift and lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
Other: Strong teamwork orientation; quality and safety conscious.
