Job Title: Warehouse Shipping Associate
Job Summary: The Warehouse Shipping Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately preparing and shipping orders while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment:
Pick and pack orders based on shipping orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Verify and cross-check product quantities, specifications, and addresses.
Shipping Preparation:
Label packages with shipping information and prepare necessary documentation.
Choose appropriate packaging materials to protect products during transit.
Inventory Management:
Conduct routine inventory checks and report discrepancies or shortages to the inventory team.
Assist with stocking shelves and organizing products in the warehouse.
Equipment Operation:
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and shipping.
Ensure all items are shipped according to company standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping environment preferred.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (certifications may be required).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good physical condition.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
