I. REPORTS TO
Department Lead or Manager
II. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF FUNCTION
An employee who performs various functions in the warehouse associated with processing product and loading onto shipping docks.
III. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
1. Palletize and shrink wrapping product for shipping.
2. Assemble boxes and box kit for each order.
3. Use computer to print labels.
4. Operate department machinery safely.
5. Complete all assigned duties and responsibilities and any other duties as instructed by the Department Lead
or Manager.
6. Ensure that all safety requirements and safety rules are followed and implemented at all times.
IV. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
1. Ability to operate assigned equipment designed for the dock job. (Forklift & Pallet Jack).
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
3. Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
4. Steel-toed shoes required, no sleeveless shirts allowed.
5. Hours as assigned with the probability of overtime during the week and on Saturday.
V. EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Manufacturing experience a plus
