All around good industrial worker with strong mechanical experience and good math skills needed as Water Jet Machine Operator at Darby, PA manufacturing company. The company manufactures many products cut from metal, stone, plastic, and tile with computer controlled water jet cutting machines.
Work is interesting and there are opportunities to acquire valuable new skills.
Starting duties vary with experience, and on-the-job training is provided.
Basic Duties:
-Setup and Running of cutting jobs.
-Checking quality of work and part tolerances.
-Offline fabrication and secondary operations such as deburing, drilling, & tapping with hand and power tools.
-Loading materials, and unloading parts and scraps from the Water Jet Machine.
-Maintenance and cleaning of machines and all shop tools and equipment.
-Cleaning floors, surfaces, and containers around machines and shop as needed.
-Maintaining overflow water, pumps, and drainage filtration systems.
-Organizing all shop tools and equipment.
-Daily start-up and shut-down procedures.
-Packaging, shipping and receiving as needed.

Advanced Duties:
-Fabrication of cut parts into finished products.
-Advanced machine setup & maintenance, programming.
-Machine upgrades and new equipment integration.
-Welding & flame cutting.
-Project managing.
