Immediate duties and training opportunities are in property management, administrative support for general contracting business (writing up contracts, change orders, payroll support, etc) and real estate sales. You can choose to train in at least 2 of the above tracks or all three. If you have construction trade skills, that would be a 4th opportunity to train and make money by putting on your tool belt a few hours a week. Candidate must have decent office skills and be trainable relative to the different property management and real estate related apps that would need to learned to be effective. An interest in real estate is a must! To the extent possible, we will align one's duties with their interests, and if a student, with their coursework.

Must be an organized, detail oriented multi tasker and time manager (or take our workshop in time and task management)
If you have limited relevant work experience, you must be eager to learn and be very trainable

Compensation and Perks
Hourly rate is $12.5- $17 for office based training / work, 15- $20 per hour for hours worked in the construction trades. depending on extent of directly applicable experience, plus commissions for leasing, assisting on real estate sales deals, and signing up new prop mgmt, brokerage and general contracting clients. Below is a summary of some of the benefits of becoming an Obara real estate investment apprentice:
1) You would learn all that goes into developing and managing your own real estate rental portfolio and thus develop your own personal asset base and true wealth. You should assume that after 12 months you will have both the knowledge and the cash flow to start building your own real estate portfolio. The firm will financially support you in buying your first investment property in Philadelphia
2) You would learn real estate investment, property management, and how to start and run a successful business, knowledge of which would position you to becoming a member of the management team or starting your own business
3) We will train you as if the success of our firm depends on it because to an extent it will. This will benefit you greatly as we will train you to be both a high octane real estate professional and a businessperson in general, we are betting you will be awesome!
