Must have SS card and ID to start working.
Must wear provided shirt/sweatshirt and khakis (not provided) daily.
Mandatory Masks will be handed out daily, temperatures will be checked and sanitizing stations available all day.
Voter Engagement Specialist Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Voter Engagement Specialist is responsible for disseminating information about the voting process and encouraging people to vote in the upcoming election. In this role, the Field Canvasser will be professional at all times, follow the instructions of the supervisor/driver, work pleasantly and efficiently in a team environment and represent the organization with knowledge and helpfulness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Memorizing and reciting sales scripts or statements prepared by the employer.
Approaching people door to door
Set up table at community events to reach a broader audience
Displaying knowledge of the voting process and locations
Maintaining a professional appearance
Reading and following maps and directions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year of canvassing or sales experience
Self-motivated and team-oriented
Ability to demonstrate professional and cheerful communication skills
Ability to read, write and print legibly
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to deal with the public in a professional manner
Ability to work in different environmental conditions
Ability to travel to walk or stand for long periods
Ability to work outdoors
Excellent interpersonal skills
