Job description:
The farmers market representative is an integral part of our farm operation. You will help run our stand at the Doylestown Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8am-1pm, April 19th to November 22nd, then the winter market from 10-1pm on 12/4, 12/18, 1/15, 2/5 and 2/19.
You will be responsible for driving our truck and trailer from the farm to the market, unloading, setting up our stand and selling our products. During the market, you will run the POS system, talk with customers and restock items. At the end of the market, you'll break down the stand, drive the truck and trailer back to the farm and unload items into the freezer and coolers.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to load and unlock bins of food, tables, tents, etc.
Valid driver's license
Ability to drive a pickup truck with a 16' trailer
Enthusiasm and excitement to vend at a farmers market
Hours:
Start at 6am at Spring Creek Farm in New Hope, PA
Market runs from 8am-1pm
Finish at 3pm at the farm after you have unloaded
Compensation:
$18/hr plus $25 value of food from our stand each week
