Security / Concierge Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional, vigilant, and customer-service-oriented individual to join our team as a Security / Concierge. This role is a vital front-line presence, responsible for both maintaining a secure environment and providing a welcoming, high-level service experience to all customers and clients
Responsibilities:
Access Control: Monitor and
manage all entry and exit points, verifying IDs
Patrols & Monitoring: Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to observe and report any unusual activity, safety hazards, or misconduct.
Incident Response: Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies (medical, fire, security), and disturbances, escalating issues to management and emergency services as necessary.
Concierge Services: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service, giving directions, and handling non-security-related inquiries.
Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate reports on all security incidents, daily activities, and observations.
Enforce Policy: Ensure compliance with property rules and regulations while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience (1-2 years minimum) in security, hospitality, concierge services, or a related public-facing role is highly preferred.
Customer Service: Proven ability to interact professionally and courteously with people from diverse backgrounds, maintaining composure in stressful situations.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Security Knowledge: Basic knowledge of security principles, emergency procedures, and report writing.
Physical Requirements: 21 or older, Male, 5' 10" height minimum. Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods and respond quickly to emergency situations. Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Professional Appearance Standard:
The individual must be able to maintain a consistently polished, professional, and neat appearance that reflects the high standards of our establishment.
This includes:
Wearing the required uniform—a black button-up shirt with a black blazer, black pants, and black shoes—which must be clean, pressed, and properly fitted for every shift.
Maintaining a neat, clean, and professional hairstyle and facial hair (if applicable), adhering to professional grooming standards.
