Position Overview:

As a Community Solar Entry Level Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable energy solutions by leading a team of dedicated sales professionals in subscribing residential and small business customers to local community solar farms. You will be at the forefront of the green energy revolution, driving sales, fostering relationships within the community, and contributing to the reduction of carbon footprints.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Your primary responsibility will be to learn how to lead and inspire a team of sales representatives. You'll provide coaching, mentorship, and motivation to help your team achieve sales targets and maximize their potential.

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with the company's objectives. Identify market opportunities, target customer segments, and tailor sales strategies accordingly.

Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, businesses, and residential customers. Promote the benefits of community solar programs and educate potential customers about the advantages of subscribing to local solar farms.

Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales metrics, track individual and team performance, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure consistent growth in customer subscriptions.

Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to your sales team to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer engagement abilities.

Customer Satisfaction: Prioritize customer satisfaction by ensuring that sales representatives provide exceptional service, answer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Reporting: Generate regular reporting on team performance, sales activities, and KPI's to share with upper management.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Experience in direct sales is a plus.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team to success.

Passion for clean energy and a commitment to sustainability.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of the solar energy industry and community solar programs is a plus.

Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.

Bachelor's degree preferred, not required; high school diploma and experience required

Pay: $600.00 - $3,400.00 per week
