Salon Type: Luxury Loc Extensions & Natural Hair Care
We are seeking a skilled, professional Loc Stylist / Loctician to join our growing luxury salon team. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for loc artistry, excellent client care, and pride themselves on quality work, consistency, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Provide luxury loc services including retwists, maintenance, styling, starter locs, and loc repairs.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of clients receiving permanent or temporary loc extensions.
Maintain a sanitary and professional workstation at all times in accordance with state board standards.
Educate clients on proper aftercare, maintenance routines, and product recommendations.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and client retention skills.
Contribute to a calm, positive, and upscale environment reflecting the salon’s brand.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
Requirements
Must have loc experience (minimum 1 year preferred; salon experience a plus)
Strong knowledge of scalp health, parting, tension control, and grooming techniques
Ability to complete neat, consistent parts and polished finishes
Professional appearance & punctuality required
Comfortable being recorded for marketing / social media content (no face required if preferred)
Willingness to grow with a luxury brand and uphold high standards of service
