We are seeking a talented, licensed, and passionate Experienced Nail Technician (Artist) to join our upscale salon team. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a creative eye for detailed nail artistry and a dedication to providing exceptional client service in a clean, professional, and relaxing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality manicures, pedicures, gel services, acrylics, and nail art;
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with state board and salon protocols;
Build lasting relationships with clients by providing personalized services and consultations;
Stay current with trends, techniques, and products in the nail industry;
Recommend appropriate nail care and retail products to clients;
Maintain proper inventory of nail tools, products, and supplies;
Collaborate with the salon team to promote a welcoming and cohesive environment;
Uphold the salon's standards for professionalism, punctuality, and client experience.
Qualifications
Valid state Nail Technician or Cosmetology license;
Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in a salon setting;
Proficiency in various nail systems (gel, acrylic, dip powder, nail art, etc);
Excellent sanitation and hygiene practices;
Strong communication and customer service skills;
Professional appearance and positive attitude;
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Advanced skills are a plus:
Experience with luxury or high end clientele
Nail extension/sculpting expertise
Social media savvy for promoting nail services and designs
Knowledge of current nail care products and services
Compensation:
Commission based on experience and performance
