Responsibilities:
Diagnose cause of any malfunction (mechanical/electrical)
Perform and document repairs with efficiency and accuracy
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
Explain repair to customer (as needed)
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Requirements and skills:
Valid Driver's license
Proven experience as auto mechanic (minimum 7 years experience)
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is required
Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
Current PA Inspection license
Must have own tools for diagnostics, inspections & repairs
