Carpenter Apprentice

Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in residential building and remodeling, with specific experience in rough framing, cabinetry and trim installation, and finish carpentry.

Candidate must have the necessary tools, reliable transportation, a willingness to learn, and be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently. This is a mid-level position with room to advance on our growing team.

We are looking for a self motivated, skilled carpenter who can provide the following tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Arriving on time with tools, ready to work

Maintain a clean and safe job site and work environment

Remodeling of kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and other residential remodeling projects

Take direction from and work with Foreman to keep the project on schedule

Maintain our standard of a high quality finished product

Uphold company vision, core values and standards

Willingness to learn, grow your skills and to teach others

Maintain a positive relationship with clients

Maintenance & completion of punch lists

Attendance & involvement in regular meetings, training, etc.

Professional Skills/Qualifications:

Ability to use hand and power tools properly and efficiently

Ability to problem solve

Rough & finish carpentry

Drywall and finishing

Flooring & Tile setting

Cabinet installation

Light plumbing

Light electrical

Masonry

Job Requirements

Education – High School Graduate

Tools - Basic carpentry tools

Transportation - Must have own vehicle and drivers license

Experience:

Carpentry: 5 years (Required)

Other Education:

Trade School/Associates Degree (Preferred but not required)
