Job Summary: We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and repair solutions. Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs. Adhere to safety procedures and company standards. Communicate effectively with service managers, team members, and customers regarding repair timelines and needs.
Qualifications: technical certification or degree preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and reading schematics. Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspection standards. Ability to lift heavy parts and equipment (50+ lbs). Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus). ASE certification(s) preferred.
