We are seeking to fill a vacancy for a full-time maintenance technician. Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician provides support to the Maintenance Team in all aspects of preventive and routine maintenance in order to keep our business campus both well-presented and in good operational order. The Maintenance Technician will have general knowledge as it relates to basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry maintenance and installations. For example, you will change out or repair faucets, sink drains, install garbage disposals, change outlets, install light fixtures etc. You will conduct property inspections of roofs, common water heaters, exterior lighting, railings and so forth. Complete assigned maintenance requests as they come in, assist with snow removal and other such tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Responsibilities:
Live within 30 minutes of 19129 area code,
Completion of maintenance or in-unit work orders as assigned.
General daily maintenance tasks and repairs on all common areas as assigned or as per the scheduled routine maintenance calendar.
Performing daily, weekly, or monthly inspections of the property’s mechanical systems, structural components and cleanliness of the grounds and buildings as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Assist with snow removal.
Provide assistance to both the porter and grounds keeping staff with completion of duties or tasks when and as needed.
Report any maintenance concerns for repairs in all common areas to the Maintenance Manager.
Assist management/maintenance team with other various tasks as required.
Be on-call for maintenance emergencies as per the schedule (subject to change) and respond to such calls in a timely manner (lockouts, clogged toilets, clogged drains etc.)
Job Type: Full-time; Monday- Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
On call required as needed once every 8 weeks.
Salary: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour.
