We are a growing home remodeling company seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team. As the Lead Carpenter, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing high-quality home renovation projects. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and subcontractors, ensuring the efficient and timely completion of remodeling projects.
Carpentry Expertise: Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, cabinetry, trim work, drywall installation, flooring, and finish work.
Project Management: Oversee job site operations, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
Collaboration with Clients: Communicate with homeowners to understand project goals and ensure their satisfaction throughout the remodeling process.
Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to company standards, and make adjustments or corrections as necessary.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols, following OSHA guidelines, and ensuring compliance with building codes.
Problem Solving: Address any challenges or issues that arise on the job site quickly and effectively, minimizing project delays.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed remodeling projects
At least 3-5 years of experience in residential construction or home remodeling
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
Expertise in carpentry techniques and knowledge of various building materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality
Strong communication skills, both with clients and team members
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
OSHA certification and knowledge of safety protocols is a plus
