Solar Construction Superintendent / Project Manager

Triad Inc America is currently searching for an Experienced Solar Construction Superintendent / Project Manager. The current site location is in West Chester, PA.

Basic Job Description:

This position requires you to support all faucets of the project from start to finish or until passed along to the next division. Responsibilities include, but not limited to ensure safety procedures and practices are adhered to, managing the delivery of materials, overseeing the quality of work being performed throughout the site and managing project budget. This position also requires you to manage assistant supers, field engineers, subcontractors and labor associated with the current project.

Job Duties:

- Responsible for managing the performance of the job in regards to scheduling, material delivery, labor needs, QA/QC, etc. to ensure job is moving along as anticipated. Create job schedules weeks in advance to make sure tasks will be completed on time or before and develop a plan to stay on task and on schedule.

- Oversee all labor needs among the trades and plan accordingly

- Collaborate with safety program/individuals on site to ensure everyone on site is in compliance with standards and protocols required. Meet with owners, architects, engineers to investigate and resolve and field issues

- Coordinate with billing and oversee estimates, payroll, invoices, subcontractor payments.

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree

- 4+ years experience as Solar Construction Superintendent and 10+ years experience in commercial construction.

- Must have extensive experience in all faucets of building construction, scheduling, costs, subcontracting and proficient in EH&S Applications.

- Ability to easily understand and decipher documents related to the contract and scopes of work associated with it.

- Must be proficient on computer and applications required including Microsoft Office, Excel , etc.

- Must be able to provide leadership and clear communication to all

Physical Requirements:

- Must be willing and able to perform all physical tasks associated with the job which include but are not limited to working outdoors in the elements (Heat and Cold). Stand / walk for long periods of time, lift and/or move 50+ lbs, climb ladders, negotiate work areas, have good situational awareness and ability to focus on multiple things at once. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

- Must be authorized to work in the U.S and be willing to take a drug screening and background check in accordance with laws and regulations.

- In this position you may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, potential risk of electrical shock, moderate to very loud noises associated with heavy machinery and other sources as these are a normal characteristics of solar construction projects.
