Warehouse Associate

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe handling, storage, and organization of the inventory, assisting with packing and shipping, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse space. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Safely handle and move furniture and artwork in and out of the warehouse.

Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking the movement of items and updating systems as needed.

Prepare items for shipment, packing and securing them to prevent damage.

Load and unload shipments, coordinating with delivery services as needed.

Drive and operate a box truck for pickups, deliveries, and gallery transfers.

Maintain a clean, organized warehouse, following safety procedures.

Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues with storage or handling.

Occasionally assist with installations, deliveries, and customer pickups.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.

Ability to drive a box truck safely; previous experience driving similar vehicles is preferred.

Prior experience in warehouse or inventory management, in an art or furniture setting, is preferred.

Physically able to lift, move, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) with care.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of care for items.

Familiarity with handling fragile objects is preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to follow safety protocols and best practices consistently.
