Northeast Adult Day Care is seeking reliable and compassionate Drivers to transport our clients to and from the Center each day. This role is ideal for someone experienced with elderly clients, including those with dementia, and familiar with operating wheelchair lifts. No CDL license is required.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company 14-passenger vehicles to transport clients to and from the Center
Assist clients with boarding, including use of wheelchair lifts, ensuring comfort and safety
Perform regular vehicle checks and minor maintenance to keep the fleet in excellent condition
Qualifications:
Experience working with elderly individuals, especially those with dementia
Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and fleet maintenance
Basic computer skills for logging trips and vehicle maintenance records
Must pass a background check and undergo regular drug testing
Compassion, patience, and a dedication to providing safe, comfortable transportation
