Delivery Driver – Bredenbeck’s Bakery
Bredenbeck’s Bakery is currently hiring multiple delivery drivers for part-time positions. This role requires day and/or afternoon availability only. Candidates must be comfortable transporting tiered cakes and other delicate baked goods.
Position Overview
As a Delivery Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring timely and professional delivery of our products to wholesale clients—including hotels, country clubs, and event venues—as well as to individual customers. You will represent Bredenbeck’s off-site, so a courteous and reliable demeanor is essential. This role includes working closely with our General Manager to ensure every delivery reflects the quality and service our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering products to wholesale accounts and private residences
Interacting professionally with clients at delivery locations
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Transporting supplies between our production and retail locations
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness (no smoking) and keeping the gas tank filled
Practicing safe, careful driving to protect product integrity
Communicating promptly with the bakery about any delivery issues
Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Familiarity with Philadelphia and surrounding areas
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (light to medium physical activity)
Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
Weekend availability (Friday through Sunday)
