Repairs and performs maintenance and modifications on existing powdered metal tooling as instructed by supervisor or engineering.
Bring part to final dimensions through hand polishing and bench work.
Fitting and assembly of tooling components.
Intricate detailed handwork is an essential part of this job.
Ability to work long periods with headset magnification is required.
Working knowledge of blueprint reading and geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read blueprints.
Written and verbal communication
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting a maximum of 25 pounds regularly.
