Die Cutting Operator

FULL-TIME

$25.74/hr

Hourly pay is between $19.21 and $25.74/hour depending on experience.

Experienced in duties of qualified Sheet Fed Cutting Operator, including make-readies and operation.

Experienced on cutting machinery similar or same as Sheetfed cutting equipment such as Iberica, Bobst 142, Bobst 145, Bobst 102

Proper press maintenance and lubrication

Performs required to provide daily quality checklist

Keeps daily time and materials usage reports and records information in SAP and PEAK

Disassembles machines to perform minor, repair, or replace broken or worn parts, using hand tools

Assist temporary employees with understanding task assignments while Reinforcing SQF standards and Graphic Packaging Internationals core values.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Manager

Keep building in clean and orderly condition, to complete the plant-wide painting schedule and to assist in the SQF Audits while maintaining SQF standards.

Schedule

Shift start: 7:00AM or 3:00PM or 7:00PM or 11:00PM
Shift length: 8 or 12 hours
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS (Union Environment) Unionized plant so flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment, meeting production performance indicators

At least 3 years of previous experience operating die cutting machinery

Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma continuing education preferred

Experience with SAP preferred
