RESPONSIBILITIESAssemble more complex fenestration products, which includes both standard and custom folding glass walls, sliding glass doors, terrace doors, windows, and moreUtilize high quality glazing techniques and help to teach newer associates proper glazing techniquesManufacture high quality panels in a safe manner, which meets or exceeds specific efficiency, productivity, and quality goalsVisually check parts and/or glass for scratches, dings, and dents prior to assemblyProactively communicate when your jobs are ahead or behind scheduleProvide feedback, as needed, to help the team standardize details and assembly drawingsFollow all necessary procedures for glass handling, including proper operation of the overhead crane when neededHandle and lift all material carefully, both manually and by overhead crane, to minimize scratches to material surrounding job cartsNotify the Lead team member/Supervisor of any issues encountered (missing subcomponents, damaged material, etc.)Provide suggestions for continuous improvement within the departmentMaintain a clean and safe environmentOther duties as assigned
