Our center is looking for a pre-kindergarten teacher. It's a fun and rewarding job! There are 8-10 children enrolled in our Pre-K program. The morning session lasts from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Monday - Friday. We prefer candidates to have an associate's or bachelor's degree pertaining to early childhood education, but we will also consider candidates with experience working with children. If you haven't worked as a teacher for a while, but want to get back into the job market this is a great opportunity for you. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:15-4:30.
Consistency and structure are so important in the day of 4 and 5-year-olds. The children need someone who can engage them in creative activities, lead them in learning activities, and help them reach the social and self-help goals set for them.
