IOR’s Language Training department provides key support to help expatriates and their families learn the new language of their host country. IOR provides Language Training for clients in all 50 US States and in over 40 countries through a network of over 1,000 independent contractor trainers.
Job Summary
The part-time freelance Language Trainer will provide language training for employees and their families who are relocating for international job assignments. Language Trainers are expected to complete a short online training and adhere to basic IOR guidelines but are free to use their own materials and teaching methods for their lessons.
Our current need is for a English trainer in Gibsonia, PA. Our student is a native Portuguese speaker with a target language of English, is at a low-intermediate to high-intermediate level. Requesting to start as soon as possible, prefers in person at their location, and is authorized for 50 hours. They would like lessons 2 days per week with a duration of 1.5 hours, available to meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8am-11am.

Job Qualifications
University Degree
Minimum 2 years of language teaching experience
Reliable transportation or other ability to meet at the location specified by the student
Comfortable speaking to individuals of many backgrounds
Professional demeanor
Ability to customize lessons based on student needs
