Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Developer with our financial services client in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 12 month + contract hybrid remote position requiring 2 days onsite.Summary:
Seeking an Application Developer.
Responsibilities:
The role requires expertise including hands-on experience with server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing to architect and maintain high availability production systems in Public/Private Cloud environments.
Experience with secure, infrastructure deployment in the cloud using Agile and DevOps concepts is highly desired.
Full infrastructure stack and lifecycle experience with enterprise DNS and load balancing, DMZ application behavior including firewall connectivity and external interfaces, Identity and Access management (IAM), domain controllers, security controls for the Public Cloud, monitoring tools and agents, OS images and hardening, distributed and parallel file systems including disk encryption, and software installation, configuration and patching is highly desired.
The ideal candidate would have a developer background and experience in automation and scripting with hands on experience with Azure Resource Manager, ARM Templates, Azure Policies, Python and Terraform.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C).
Expertise in using Terraform to develop, test, and deploy cloud infrastructure as code.
Use infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform Enterprise, or Azure Resource Manager to define and provision infrastructure resources.
Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Preferred Skills/ Experience:
Proficiency with APIs management solutions like Azure APIM.
Experience with cloud-based technologies and services including Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, Cloud Messaging.
Experience designing and implementing APIs.
