Position Title: Commercial Credit Development Program Associate

Business Unit: Credit

Reports to:Manager of Credit DevelopmentPosition Overview:

This 12-month Commercial Credit Development Program is designed to teach the skills necessary to launch a successful professional career at FNB. The primary objective of this position is to develop credit analysis acumen of middle market companies and real estate developers through hands-on experience in a professional environment. The incumbent associate is accountable for preparation of all aspects of financial analysis of current and prospective commercial customers. The structure of the Development Program fosters professional growth by providing specialized training and stretch assignments throughout the one-year curriculum. This position will put the development program associate on a path to a successful career with FNB, with a solid credit analysis foundation. Successful completion promotes the Associate into another role, and/or another region, and onto a prosperous career path in one of our many business lines or support departments.Primary Responsibilities:Analyze the creditworthiness of borrowers, identify key credit issues, and prepare full written analysis in an accurately and timely manner according to available information and established policies and procedures, including completion of underwriting document and all components thereof.Utilize software to spread various types of submitted financial statements in an accurately and timely manner according to established policies and procedures to aid in the analysis of a borrower's creditworthiness.Prepare cash flow and global cash flow analysis for borrowers in an accurately and timely manner according to established policies and procedures to aid in the analysis of a borrower's creditworthiness.

Perform credit risk analysis for FNB Lines of Business, which includes Commercial Banking, Asset Based Lending, Business Banking, and Investment Real Estate.Work with commercial credit teams across the organization to be acquainted with the various commercial banking environments.Implement skills learned from professional development courses on business etiquette, interpersonal communication, sales, and organization skills.Participate in social engagements that promote community involvement, as well as capitalize on networking opportunities with our leadership team. Develop professional relationships with tenured bankers through regular contact and in-person meetings.Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by F.N.B.
