You will be part of a team responsible for providing technical assistance and research to resolve issues concerning products, materials, and construction. Responsibilities of this role include responding to requests for technical subject matter expertise from Homebuilding and Manufacturing , as well as submitting Product Action Reports (PARs) on behalf of field personnel to assist in issue resolution and recommend actions aimed at improvements to blueprints, fabrication, construction methodology, phase specifications, and estimating programming as applicable.NVR is a growing company with significant opportunities for career advancement and mobility. Respond to incoming requests for subject matter expertise from personnel including manufacturing as well as project and cost control managers regarding blueprints, architectural/design specifications, and construction information in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain a detailed understanding of NVR products, as well as current standards associated with blueprints, fabrication, HVAC, construction methodology, phase specifications, and estimating programming.

Research requests and coordinate within ASD departments including the architectural and estimating teams to determine root causes of issues; liaise with field personnel to achieve resolution.

Submit PARs, provide corrective action to delegated PAR’s, and respond appropriately within specified timelines.

Document resolutions in the appropriate tracking system(s) and share solutions, learnings, and best practices with team members.

Efficiently use design software and demonstrate knowledge of NVR options.

Proactively support systems and procedures associated with internal quality assurance and/or add-order programs.

Interface and interact with personnel at all levels to resolve quality issues.

Coordinate technical support projects as directed.

Qualified applicants have:

Bachelors or Associates degree, focus in construction, architecture or design is preferred

Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction

Proficient in reading blueprints

Familiarity with design software, preferred

Proficient with spreadsheet and database tools as well as MS Office products

Knowledge of residential, energy conservation, mechanical and fuel-gas codes preferred

Exceptional attention to detail, problem analysis and problem solving skills

Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator

High energy with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
