POSITION SUMMARYAt Matthews International, we are currently seeking a talented HR Service Center Coordinator to join our team! In this critical role, the HR Service Center Coordinator will provide support for employee questions and requests related to benefits, compensation, policies, HR processes, payroll, and much more. Providing excellent customer service to all employees and stakeholders is an integral part of the Coordinator role. While working cross-collaboratively with multiple teams, the HR Service Center Coordinator will be able to successfully provide knowledge and insight to ensure exceptional service is delivered. As an integral part of our HR Service Center Team, the Coordinator will execute administrative functions with a strong attention to detail and will be encouraged to use initiative and insight in problem-solving. This role will provide the training foundation and experience that will support in building successful relationships across each division of our diverse company. Answersincoming questions immediately via phone, e-mail and web portal.

Contacts customers via oral or written correspondence to resolve questions.

Documents all pertinent employee information, including name, department, contact information and the nature of their call.

Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.

Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.

Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests

Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

1+ years of previous human resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.

High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications

Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)

Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts

Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients

Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management

Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

Ability to work overtime as necessary

Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
