DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure Engineering - US Remote

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Anywhere Real Estate Inc. This role involves collaborating with business product owners, software developers, security teams, and other IT staff within an Agile framework to achieve business software development objectives. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development, testing, and operations teams, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of solutions.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Agile development teams to gather and analyze requirements across business, infrastructure, application, security, and operations domains.

Architect solutions based on gathered requirements, adhering to established standards and industry best practices.

Align solutions and processes with Anywhere's directives and standards.

Design, scale, and build automated approaches across all stages of product development.

Work with development, testing, and documentation teams to ensure quality control throughout the product development cycle.

Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) based on approved solutions.

Build, modify, and support IaC build and release pipelines.

Build, modify, and support application code release pipelines.

Implement application monitoring to ensure reliability and performance, providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Participate in Agile team standup meetings and integrate with workflow tools as required.

Create and maintain project documentation.

Stay informed about current and emerging cloud-based architectures, technologies, and products.

Learn and test new cloud technologies to continuously improve existing processes through automation.

Convert system specifications and standards into automated processes.

Apply security and compliance requirements through automation and verification.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of experience working with cloud solutions in Azure.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

Knowledge of DevOps philosophies, practices, and tools.

Familiarity with Azure SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS services.

Ability to translate business outcomes into effective solutions.

Understanding of ITIL practices.

Experience with JIRA, TFS, TFSVC, VSTS, and Git.

Proficiency in containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or VSTS.

Proficiency in data formats and scripting languages such as JSON, YAML, Bash, and PowerShell.

Experience with Azure BICEP and ARM Templates.

Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to develop complex technical solutions for business processes.

Capability to plan and execute multiple complex projects simultaneously.
