Location : Wilkinsburg

Driver's license & vehicle required and must be at least 21 years old.

Program for youth with a mental health diagnosis.

All full-time positions include some portion of the weekend .

Hourly Rate : $14.04

Provides direct service work with at risk population in out-of-home

service settings, with emphasis on ensuring health and safety, obtaining permanency, and

enhancing overall well being in a teaching environment.

Position Qualification :

Required : Minimally a High School Diploma and two years of relevant experience or a Bachelor€™s Degree; valid PA driver€™s license;

Act 33 / 34 clearances; health assessment that indicates €œfree from communicable disease and able to work with at risk population€ upon hire and annually thereafter.

Experience working in Windows XP, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office. Schedule may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed and / or as directed.

Preferred : Bachelor€™s Degree.

Essential Functions / Accountabilities :

Implements and maintains the agency€™s mission, vision and values in all facets of performance.

Teaches, implements and maintains the Service€™s Re-Education Philosophy, principles and procedures in all facets of performance.

Develops and maintains therapeutic environment appropriate to at risk population, emphasizing the health and safety of consumers, staff, and community, while complying with facility and property maintenance standards as defined by the agency and by external regulatory and contractual parties.

Provides required levels of supervision and security for clients at all times.

Promotes healthy, professional, and teaching relationships with clients in all daily living activities that facilitate competency development, improve safety, enhance permanency attainment, and increase overall well being.

Participates in the development of all service components, including referral and intake, assessment, service planning and delivery, and discharge, as indicated and / or as directed.

Provides timely, accurate and professional written and verbal documentation of all program operations and service components.

Anticipates and / or intervenes directly in crisis situations, using approved behavior management and crisis intervention techniques, including but not limited to : de-escalation;

conflict resolution; individual and / or group strategies; and, restrictive procedures.

Supervises and documents the administration of prescribed and non- prescribed medications in accordance with state regulations and agency policies.

Provides transportation to supervise clients on appointments, in accordance with agency policies and legal mandates.
