Purpose:Help Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship grow! Our school provides innovative learning experiences for students, with a dynamic learning environment that serves as a beacon of inspiration for schools nationwide. The Director of Admissions is responsible for the overall operation and management of admissions, external relations, enrollment, and career advancement for PHCSE. Provides strategic leadership of the admissions department to support the organization's goals and core values. Lead student recruitment, advancement, and retention efforts. Lead communication and marketing efforts regarding admissions and enrollment periods.Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree is required.

Minimum 5 years experience in school enrollment/admissions and supervisory/management-level experience

Manage, train, and hire qualified enrollment staff.

Oversee, guide, and supervise efforts to increase student recruiting, admissions, and retention.

Create a working environment that fosters strong staff morale.

Recruitment & New Family Engagement

Oversee school tours and information sessions for prospective families.

Convey the School's mission to prospective families and the external community to generate excitement PHCSE.

Develop a strategic recruitment and communication plan to develop a diverse student body.

Serve as the point person to create campus-specific marketing materials.

Coordinate and participate in special events involving current and prospective families.

Admissions & Enrollment

Provide leadership in the development of student enrollment and student support services and initiatives.

Administer and direct efforts to streamline admissions and enrollment processes.

Review reports and data and make recommendations for changes and improvement based upon findings.

Maintain record-keeping procedures that comply with state and federal law.

Provide information and support to families navigating the application, decision, and enrollment processes.

Oversee the re-enrollment process to ensure that parents do not miss deadlines.

Articulate and communicate admissions standards.

Data Analysis & Trends

Provide oversight to ensure that office staff have the training to submit required data and reports to the PA Department of Education.

Monitor and report on attrition and retention rates; present statistical and trend information to the Board of Trustees.

Collect information on how PHCSE are viewed in the community, through ongoing surveys to prospective parents; conversations with parents and families; consultation with feeder schools.

Formulate annual Admission and Enrollment Action Plan with goals and objectives based on enrollment goals set by the Board of Trustees.

Craft metrics for student recruiting, marketing, and communications.

Meetings & Professional Development

Model the organization's mission, vision, and values, and implement and enforce Board policies

Attend and present at staff meetings and in-house professional development as needed

Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and community events as needed

Demonstrate commitment to professional growth through participation in professional learning communities, networking, and professional development opportunities

Attend potentially litigious or highly adversarial parent/student conferences.

Conduct regular departmental meetings to assess the needs, progress, and issues of each functional area of the Pupil Services Department (student services, health services, administrative support and office staff), and provide updated information, policies, procedures, and mandates to staff.

Attend Board Meetings; prepare and present reports as needed
