AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer for immediate employment in Pittsburgh, PA to join our Class I Railroad Team. The role supports public improvement projects across western PA and nearby states. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Review sponsor plans, contractor submissions, and calculations for Railroad impacts and constructability.Conduct 2-3 days/week of on-site monitoring for compliance with Railroad requirements.Coordinate with railroad personnel, sponsors, and contractors during design and construction phases.Maintain accurate project records, ensuring timely delivery of documentation while meeting quality standards.Respond proactively to client requests and input.Assist task leaders with administrative and financial tasks for a General Engineering Contract (GEC).Perform tasks within budget and schedule under supervision.Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
