The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation are seeking two full-time physiatrists MD/DO with interests in spine, sports, and musculoskeletal medicine for our growing department. Our expanding programs within an integrated healthcare delivery and finance system offer unique opportunities for value-based care and boast a collaborative environment with other sub-specialties to ensure comprehensive approaches to patient wellness. Appointment at the Associate Professor level generally requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and demonstrated scholarly productivity in research, teaching, and/or administrative leadership and service.
Appointment at the full Professor level generally requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and the ability to demonstrate the attainment of superior stature and national/international reputation in their field of knowledge.
Applicants with less than 5 years of experience would be considered for appointment at the Assistant Professor level.
Clinically-based non-tenure track options are available. For appointment in the tenure stream, evidence of scholarly productivity is required including teaching and academic service, publications in relevant peer-reviewed journals, and a history of successful funding acquisition.
